Ingredients: - (Servings for 2)
1. Chopped Vegetables – 1cup
(carrot, cabbage, beans, cauliflower, capsicum)
2. Onion -- 1 no.
3. Oats -- 2 tbsp
4. Green chilies -- 2 nos.
5. Lemon juice -- 1 tspn
6. Chilly powder -- 1 tsp
7. Corn flour -- 2 tbsp
8. Bread slices -- 4 nos.
9. Coriander leaves(or)mint -- Few strands
10. Salt -- 1 tsp
11. Garam masala -- 1 tsp
12. Oil -- as reqd.
Method:-
Step 1: Finely chop half of the onion, 2 green chilies.
Step 2: Take a kadai, heat it, add little oil, and sauté(fry) onions until translucent.
Step 3: Now add green chilies and chopped vegetables, salt and sauté for two more mins.
Step 4: Remove it, from the flame and allow to cool.
Step 5: Take bread slices, put it in a blender or mixer , make it as a dry powder.
Put that in a plate.
Step 6: Take a bowl, add the corn flour, add a little water to it and make it a thin paste.
Step 7: Heat a kadai(wok) and pour oil in to, for frying .
Step 8: Now add chilly powder, lemon juice, oats and garam masala to the vegetables.
Step 9: Mix it well with the hand and make small balls of them, place it in a plate.
Take the balls, dip them in the corn flour, roll in the bread powder and fry it in hot Oil.
Step10: Remove the cutlets when they are golden brown, garnish with onions and mint
Leaves, serve hot with tomato sauce.
